This D.C. area club is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of all of the cars of the MG marque…The club holds local and regional events that run the gamut of car-related activities from hands-on tech sessions to casual driving and social events, and is open to any car enthusiasts who have an interest in MGs and other similar classic British sports cars. A car show for the benefit of retired veterans who live at the Armed Forces Retirement Home (also known by its historical name, ‘President Lincoln’s Cottage”) at 140 Rock Creek Chruch Rd NW Washington D.C. 20011. NOTE – THIS IS A SECURE FACILITY AND YOU MUST NOTIFY AFRH SECURITY BEFORE YOU COME OR YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED THOGUH THE GATE HOUSE. Call Marla McGuinness at 202 – 541-7639 and give her with your full name, email and cell phone contact info, and car information. ID is required to enter the base AND you must either show proof of vaccination OR or wear a mask at all times while on the base. The show starts at 10.am. BUT the security folks want us on the field between 8 and 9 a.m.
