This D.C. area club is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of all of the cars of the MG marque…The club holds local and regional events that run the gamut of car-related activities from hands-on tech sessions to casual driving and social events, and is open to any car enthusiasts who have an interest in MGs and other similar classic British sports cars. POSTPONED – NEW DATE Spring is here. Cars need to be cleaned and polished. On June 1st Ed will be hosting Detail Day at his house next to Mount Vernon, 9106 Old Mount Vernon Road Alexandria. Wash, polish, vacuum your MG toy!!!
We will start at 10am. Come earlier and Ed will put you to work getting set up for car work and lunch set up. Help is always welcome.
Ed has all the polish, buffers, clay bars and two buffing machines. He also has the ceramic coating and treatment for vinyl and rubber. Yes, lunch will be served as well, but please RSVP for a correct hot dog count.
Cars will be parked on Ed’s front lawn if your car does not leak oil too much. Yeah, he knows they all leak some, but his grass will survive.
