This is the body of my father’s 1971 MGB. It was fully rebuilt using new parts, professionally welded/assembled, and painted a Mazda Miata British Green by Mountjoy’s Autoshop in the late 1990s/early 2000s. Please note, if you’re familiar with Mountjoy’s Autoshop, this work was done by the original owners and not those who bought the business since then. If any of you remember that time, you might remember a tall skinny young man who worked in the part’s department… that was me.
This body has been garage-kept and only seen the light of day a few times when it was moved. It has little dings from being moved around and a little surface rust here and there (mostly underneath), but the body is perfect thanks to being garaged kept and POR-15’ed.
Please note: This is located in Millersville, MD, and will need to be towed away. I know this is easily $10-15k worth of work, so $5000 is going to save you quite a bit of money. I will, however, take offers. More pictures are available on demand. I was going to put them here, but was having issues with the upload.
