Repeat of a popular session. Eric Newman and Alphonso Stewart will be presenting some local expertise on the ins and outs of the MG wiring. We’ll be starting with the basics and walk through a lot of scenarios and common pitfalls that you may encounter with these wonderful old cars. We’ll discuss some basic theory, include basic LUCAS-specific troubleshooting tools and tips, commonly seen failures, and extend into modifications people have made to their cars. Even if you’re not a do-it-yourselfer, this session should help prepare you to better understand the how and why of these sorts of problems when they occur and you just might learn trick or two that’ll get you home on a dark and stormy night. You’ll be in a better decision to decide whether to repair, or replace parts. Besides just getting back on the road, we’ll discuss things like upgrading your bulbs to LEDs, new wiring harnesses, adding relays, and more. Lots to cover!
Note: We will be meeting in the Woodrow Wilson Meeting Room #2
