This D.C. area club is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of all of the cars of the MG marque…The club holds local and regional events that run the gamut of car-related activities from hands-on tech sessions to casual driving and social events, and is open to any car enthusiasts who have an interest in MGs and other similar classic British sports cars. This is our mid-week overnight trip and we are headed to Blackwater Falls State Park in Davis, WV (which is in the Canaan Valley highlands). The weather is forecast to be quite good for both days.
We plan to meet at the Starbucks in Leesburg which is at 1011 Edwards Ferry Road at 9 AM on Tuesday, Oct 22nd. We’ll depart shortly thereafter
and wind our way west towards Winchester where we’ll stop for lunch at Piccadilly’s Pub. After lunch, we’ll continue west on scenic back roads to our destination at Blackwater Falls State Park (with a gas/bathroom stop midway in Wardensville WV). Total driving distance between our start point and the park is about 150 miles with a driving time of approximately two and a half to three hours.
