This D.C. area club is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of all of the cars of the MG marque…The club holds local and regional events that run the gamut of car-related activities from hands-on tech sessions to casual driving and social events, and is open to any car enthusiasts who have an interest in MGs and other similar classic British sports cars. This year’s MGCCWDCC test drive will take place on Saturday 9-11am, September 21, 2024, at Seneca Creek Park in Gaithersburg, MD. We will meet at the Fawn picnic pavilion which is reserved to stage the cars. There is an entry fee ($3 MD resident, $5 non-resident) per person into the park and it opens at 8:00 am.
We are adding an op on for vehicle owners to drive their own car and allow passengers to ride along. I’m looking forward to being a passenger in a T-Type MG. The pavilion is reserved all day and is available for those who wishes to stay and enjoy the park after the event. We’re seeking volunteers (non-board members preferably) to help with the setup of coffee, tea, and pastry table.
