This is a working MGB manual transmission I removed from my car. It’s only issue was that it was occasionally popping out of third during hard deceleration. I think this was actually caused by the shifting gater being too tight, but it’s possible it could use some internal refreshing. Still – no metal shavings in the oil, and it doesn’t grind or make funny noises. Even if you just want to take it apart as a science project for your kid, that’s fine with me.
